◦ Water quality of the habitat: pH 6-6.5 E.C. 20 ppm

At the habitat, PKs have been found to grow in valleys running East-West on cliffs facing South West, so the plants receive cloud filtered sunlight from noon until the sun sets. It rains almost daily in the afternoon, with persistent but moderate showers. The original 2nd habitat contained many very old plants, in total some estimated 2500 to 3000 plants. Small numbers of seedlings were also found. High winds of 60 mph are present in the habitat.
